Name/category selection and brief descriptions were prepared for this app.

Area: ONS December 2024 Walsall metropolitan borough (E08000030), generalised
coastline-clipped boundary. Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database
right 2024; contains National Statistics data © Crown copyright and database
right 2024. Contains public sector information licensed under the
[Open Government Licence v3.0](../areas/licenses/OGL-3.0.txt).
[ONS licensing](https://www.ons.gov.uk/methodology/geography/licences).
Mapped water is © OpenStreetMap contributors / Overture Maps Foundation,
ODbL 1.0, source release 2026-10-21.0. The simplified land derivative database
is offered under ODbL 1.0 with the original boundary attribution retained.
The actual source geometry and transformation script accompany these records.

The retained independent OSM park/path/feature validation selections are also
© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0. Public source files and preparation
code permit inspection and reproduction; personal routes/backups are absent.
The combined public selection database is offered under ODbL where applicable;
this does not replace or remove upstream CDLA/Apache/OGL notices.

The broad 262-candidate research source also includes rejected Foursquare
records. These are absent from runtime landmarks. Copyright 2024 Foursquare
Labs, Inc. All rights reserved. Data transformed to the Overture schema.
The original official notice page, its complete readable notice and the full
Apache 2.0 licence are retained as `Foursquare-NOTICE.html`,
`Foursquare-NOTICE.txt` and `Apache-2.0.txt`. The current original notice says
© 2026; both upstream notices are preserved without reconciling their years.
Our changes select records, rename schema fields and add original descriptions;
we have not moved source points. See [Overture attribution](https://docs.overturemaps.org/attribution/)
and [Foursquare's notice](https://opensource.foursquare.com/places-notice-txt/).

The council links and their map parameters are factual corroboration, not a
redistribution of council page prose or basemap imagery. No claim of access,
opening hours, independent surveying or complete borough coverage is made.
